I’m pleased to announce a new version of Kojo, with support for Swedish. Many thanks to Björn Regnell for making this happen!
To switch Kojo to Swedish, you need to do the following:
- On Windows, run Kojo as an admin (by right-clicking the Kojo icon and then clicking Run As Administrator).
- Go to the Language Menu and click on Swedish.
- Restart Kojo.
After the integration of Swedish, it should be pretty simple to add support for other languages to Kojo. Stay tuned for a post on how you can potentially help to make this happen. Caveat – for a language to be integrated into Kojo, it needs to be supported by the Netbeans Platform; you can check this by seeing if it is listed in the IDE Language drop-down on the Netbeans download page.
As always, the new version is available from the Kojo Download Page.
Enjoy (especially if you are Swedish) !

Great Kojo … Keep the good work On … Vimal
Thanks!
Swedish was truly Greek to me, but it was great to know that Kojo has gone international. I wonder when a Hindi version could materialize!! Blessings! JC Pant.
We will do a Hindi version soon! (It will be a partial translation – because the Netbeans Platform does not have a Hindi version).
